When someone has spent years on the streets, they need more than just meals and shelter. That’s why our life-transforming recovery program includes life skills training. Classes address topics like financial responsibility, relationship boundaries, parenting, employment training, job placement and more.
Full-Service Care for a Client for 2 Weeks
Transformation at Phoenix Rescue Mission is amazing to behold, but it doesn’t happen overnight. In our Christ-centered, long-term recovery program, guests have the time and space they need to overcome past hardships and achieve lasting transformation.
Provide One Week of Childcare
While working to create a more positive and stable future, moms in our Changing Lives Center for Women and Children participate in a wide variety of classes, and many will also return to the workforce. During their time away, their children need a safe, nurturing environment to learn, heal and grow.
Appointment with a Dental Hygienist
When a person is struggling to survive on the streets, their health suffers — and that includes their dental hygiene. There’s no way to floss or brush when you can’t access a bathroom, and many of our guests have untreated cavities, missing teeth and other urgent problems when they arrive at the Mission.
